Whether you’re visiting Indianapolis for the first time or you’ve lived here for years, our tours offer a unique way to experience the city’s trails, parks, neighborhoods, and hidden gems.

Long before Bike Tours Indy was created, Kevin Daly discovered the joy of recumbent cycling during his daily commute. For years, Kevin rode a recumbent bike to work every day, turning what could have been an ordinary commute into one of the best parts of his day.

He first tried a recumbent bike out of curiosity and immediately noticed the difference. The comfortable seat, relaxed riding position, and smooth pedaling made cycling feel natural and enjoyable in a way traditional bikes never had. Instead of finishing rides with sore wrists, neck, or back, Kevin found himself arriving energized and ready for the day.

That daily ride quickly became something he looked forward to. Over time, Kevin truly fell in love with recumbent bikes—not just for their comfort, but for the way they make cycling accessible, relaxing, and fun for riders of all ages.

Today, Kevin and his wife Sondra Daly share that passion through Bike Tours Indy, giving others the chance to experience the same comfort and freedom that made Kevin a lifelong recumbent rider.
